Takashi, a frustrated junior high student in1987, despises his uncool father constantly hanging around their suburban home and is harassed by the area's want tobe gangsters. But he's taken with the girl next door, the bountiful-breasted Megumi. Takashi overhears a rumor that porn actress Kyoko Yokushimaru is coming to town for an autograph session at the only video store in town, where Takashi and his judo friends frequently congregate. The absurd but serious adventure begins. After all of the surprises and chaos, what will Takashi discover? This is the debut feature of Shin Adachi, the Japan Academy Prize-winning screenwriter of 100 Yen Love. It is reminiscent of youth classics such as Stand By Me.
