Seventy-nine Up is the seventh film in a series of important documentaries that began 42 years ago when the UK-based Granada's World in Action team, inspired by the Jesuit maxim, made a series of films. "Give me the child until he's seven, and I'll give you the man." A researcher for the original film has been back to interview the "children" every seven years since, when they were 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and now at age 49. People who were in the original group now speak out on a wide range of topics, like love, marriage, class, and prejudice, in this new chapter.
