When Sam Montgomery goes to school she's known as the tomboy and an outcast. Several months into their correspondence, she receives a text message from a mysterious Nomad asking her to meet at the Halloween dance at 11:00 p.m., smack dab in the middle of the dancefloor. However, she must return to the cafe run by her nasty Stepmom Fiona at 12 sharp because she is not meant to be there. Carter, Nomad's best friend, will drive her back to the diner so she may find out who she really is. Things go completely bonkers for Sam as a result of that one night!
