A Kiss Before Dying

Jonathan Corliss, a college student who is obsessed with being affluent, covertly romances Dorothy Carlsson in order to obtain the approval of her wealthy father. When Dorothy informs Jonathan that she is pregnant and that her father will reject her inheritance if he discovers the news, Jonathan murders her and arranges her death as a suicide. Dorothy's twin sister, Ellen, investigates the apparent suicide as Jonathan gains employment with Mr. Carlsson.
