After being disbarred, a lawyer goes off to write a book about his ordeal. He meets a man who gives him permission to read his manuscript. The man dies, and the lawyer claims ownership of the book. Just as the book is about to become a huge success. He is arrested for the real-life murders of the five lawyers depicted in his book. He then finds himself in the position of attempting to prove his innocence in the murders.
