Six years have passed since Guantanamo Bay, and Harold and Kumar now have vastly different families, friends, and lifestyles. Inadvertently, Kumar burns down Harold's father-in-favorite law's Christmas tree when he comes at Harold's doorstep during the holiday season with a mysterious box. Harold and Kumar embark on a trip throughout New York City to locate the ideal Christmas tree, once again encountering obstacles at every turn.
