Will Freeman, a cool Londoner, wakes up one day to the realization that all of his buddies are married and involved with the duties that come along with it, which leaves him out in the cold. He introduces himself to a number of single mothers under the guise of a single parent, fully convinced that he will be able to escape their clutches as soon as they begin to demand a commitment from him. However, Will's plans to remain a bachelor are derailed when he meets Marcus, who is just 12 years old and is, in many respects, the polar opposite of Will.
