Aircraft Carrier Ibuki
There is a 24-hour span in which the story takes place. The Hateruma archipelago in the southernmost portion of Japan is suddenly occupied by 20 fishing vessels of an unknown ethnicity. Detained are members of the Japan Coast Guard. The Japanese government dispatches the Aircraft Carrier Ibuki and an escort fleet to the area in light of the precarious situation. The Aircraft Carrier Ibuki is commanded by Ryota Akitsu (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and Toshiya Niinami (Kuranosuke Sasaki). As of 6:23 a.m. local time, Japan faces a day unlike any other.
