Franz and Arthur, two cinephile slackers, spend their days impersonating the antiheroes of Hollywood noirs and Westerns while pursuing the lovely Odile. The mismatched trio challenges convention at every turn, whether through choreographed café dances or frolicsome romps through the Louvre. Their romantic view of outlaws eventually drives them to plan their own heist, but their lack of experience may send them out in a blaze of glory – which could be exactly what they want.
