Beasts of the Southern Wild

A young girl named Hushpuppy lives with her father Wink in the Bathtub, a remote southern Delta village. Wink's rough affection prepares her for the universe's unraveling—for a time when he can't protect her anymore. When Wink gets sick, the ice caps melt, releasing an army of prehistoric animals called aurochs. Hunchpuppy sets out to find her mother as the waves rise and Wink's health weakens.
