Bitter Rice
Francesca and Walter are two-bit criminals in Northern Italy, and to avoid the police, Francesca joins a group of female rice workers. She meets Silvana, a voluptuous peasant rice worker, and Marco, a soldier who is about to be discharged. Walter follows her to the rice fields, where the four characters become embroiled in a complicated plot involving robbery, love, and murder.
