forensic pathologist Mortimer Clark is examining the body of a teenage girl who has been ravaged and torn apart by a large dog for the third time in as many years. Girls were all killed on the full moon. This was an odd choice: a werewolf. That's a waste of time. But the next full moon is coming soon, and another body is on its way. On the day of the full moon: This weekend, Lauren Redd, a 16-year-old girl, has to spend the weekend with her grandmother. She's about to fall into a complicated trap set up by a clever killer who knows how to play her. That's not what happens when Lauren is finally cornered, though. The tables turn, and the prey is now in charge.
