Burlesque
The Burlesque Lounge isn't as good as it used to be. Tess, a former dancer who now owns the venue, works hard to keep the old theater going, even though she faces a lot of financial and artistic problems. The members of the Lounge troupe are getting more and more preoccupied with their own problems, and Tess is being threatened by a rich businessman who wants to buy the club from her. It seems like luck has left the club for good. Ali, a girl from a small town in Iowa, is about to go through a huge change. Ali leaves behind a sad past when Tess hires her as a waitress at the Lounge. She quickly falls in love with the art of burlesque. She is able to fulfill her dream of being on stage because she has made new friends among the theater crew. Things take a dramatic turn, though, when Ali's big voice makes her the center of attention at the venue.
