Chihayafuru Part I

Arata Wataya met Chihaya Ayase when she was in sixth grade. From Fukui Prefecture, Arata Wataya was promoted. Taichi Mashima has known Chihaya Ayase since they were children. The card game karuta brought Arata closer to Chihaya and Taichi. Chihaya is now in high school, four years later. Chihaya discovers that Arata, who has returned to Fukui Prefecture, no longer plays karuta. Chihaya and Taichi form a karuta group at their high school, believing they will run across Arata again.
