Emily's dairy farm, which she has been running since her father's death, has fallen on bad times recently. Upon discovering that Emily's sister Dorothy, along with her attractive business partner Charlie, had arrived to offer the farm up for sale, Emily devises an innovative strategy to buy out her sister's stake in the business. It is because to a critical ingredient, Charlie's wonderful apple pie, that she is successful in her online Christmas ice cream flavor contest, which has gone viral. Emily, however, is counting on a Christmas miracle to rescue the family farm and her father's legacy as the deadline for the buyout approaches on Christmas Eve.
