To work at a Christmas tree lot, Nick takes a job after being fired from his high-powered company. It's at Julie's school that they meet. Julie is an astronomy teacher who always looked up to the stars for hope. As the Christmas spirit comes over him and he starts to fall in love with Julie, the once self-centered Nick learns that helping others is a great way to have fun.
