Coyote Lake
Coyote Lake is a reservoir on the Rio Grande along a risky drug smuggling route. Teresa and her daughter Ester, 17, manage a boarding house on the lake where they drug, rob, and drown drug-runners and human traffickers. Teresa tells her daughter they're ridding the world of terrible people and saving the stolen money to leave Coyote Lake and start over. Two cartel criminals interrupt their routine by taking them captive.
