Following his mentor's assassination in the course of a bungled commercial deal in Thailand, an American detective finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He links up with an ex-military mercenary out to settle a score of his own in order to bring the killers to justice, despite the fact that a bounty has been placed on his head and that he is being urged to flee the country.
