It's been ten years since Kira and L last faced off. Shinigami once again distributes death notes to the ground, and as a result, the world descends into anarchy. At the Death Note special task force team, Tsukuru is one of six detectives, including Matsuda (Michio Kawasaki), who was involved in the case of Kira 10 years ago.
