It is a feature film that examines contemporary Berlin life with a critical and sometimes humorous eye, with the majority of the film taking place in Berlin. A true story told through the eyes of an American writer of Israeli/Palestinian descent and a Russian aspiring artist who works as a hustler, the film provides access to the city's vibrant queer and underground scenes while also examining the differences between expatriate and refugee life in the United States. While exploring Berlin's deep history and distinct subcultural landscape, our characters come across influences and vestiges of the Weimar Republic, World War II, the Bowie era, and punk rock, among other things.
