Disaster Wars: Earthquake vs. Tsunami

Deep beneath the Marianas Trench, an accident causes a devastating Tsunami that destroys the Hawaiian Islands as it moves westward. Panic grips the western coasts of North and South America. In an attempt to mitigate the tsunami's impact, scientists set off an underwater explosion, which inadvertently increases the tsunami's power and focuses it on Los Angeles. Scientists work feverishly to find a solution, while the military prepares for the worst. The city of Los Angeles has begun an emergency evacuation. Even as a brash young grad student devises a solution to counteract the rushing torrent and raise the continental shelf off the coast of the United States, lives and loves are lost.
