A travel agent in Edinburgh loses his keys and his fiancee in the same night. A friend finds the keys and, just for fun, makes a lot of copies with his address on them. She gives them to him right before he goes on vacation. Several of the women he dates across the continent get the keys. He gets engaged again over the phone and plans to meet his new girlfriend at his apartment, but the apartment is already occupied.
