In the wake of the Viral Demon's unintentional emancipation, the world has been given a wake-up call in the form of the viral demon recording. Kendra, AJ, Mar, and Dwayne, all of whom went to college together, find themselves growing apart. In an effort to relive their college glory days, the gang gathers online via webcam for a night of storytelling, pranks, and drinking. At some point throughout the night in Salem, Massachusetts, they unintentionally unleash a deviously intelligent monster that had been dormant for millennia. In order to survive the demon's dark and twisted agenda, the friends must figure out who they can still trust as the demon can inhabit numerous individuals at once.
