Extremities
A woman flees from a man preparing to rape her, but leaves behind her pocketbook. Fearful that her attacker will pursue her, she contacts the police, who are powerless to intervene without evidence of the occurrence. Indeed, the man uses the information in her bag and arrives at her apartment intending to rape her, but she sprays him in the face with insect repellent and then keeps him captive. She is then forced to choose between going to the police, who may disbelieve her and release him, or killing him.
