Ellie and her two teenage daughters, both of whom are recovering drug addicts, have recently relocated to a new city. She's struggled in the past with being clean and sober, but she's determined to succeed this time around. She's found a job and is attending her 12-step meetings on a regular basis. Ellie, despite having new friends, a new career, and the possibility of a new life, continues to fall. This new Ellie has to be accepted by her children as a new person, and they have no choice but to do so.
