Fateless
Buchenwald is a formative experience for a Hungarian teen during World War II. At 14, György Köves, son of a merchant, is imprisoned in a work camp for his father's sake. He gets a job at the brickyard after his father leaves. His bus is stopped and the Jewish people on it are sent to concentration camps. György discovers comradeship, pain, cruelty, illness, and death in this place. When it comes to maintaining one's dignity and self-respect, he often receives advice. Hatred dawns on him. What will he discover if he survives and returns to Budapest? What is it like to be a Jew naturally? It's all in the tones when it comes to creating a sepia tone.
