Mark and Olivia, an American couple, are expecting their first child. Until then, they want to fulfill a lifelong ambition by visiting Europe. So they rent private rooms online and go out on a four-week adventure. Elisabeth meets them at the airport when they arrive in Germany. A tiny house on a gorgeous lake in Olivia's great-grandparents' hometown, she is the daughter of the landlord of Mark and Olivias first lodging. Their 82-year-old landlady is sick and dying. Then she takes Mark and Olivia home. Then came their first night in Germany. A night where Mark gets to know the owner better. Strangely silent the next morning at the lakeside house. And no one will know what transpired in the last few hours.
