Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison
In the South Pacific in 1944, stranded Marine Corporal Allison wanders to Tuasiva Island in a raft, where he meets Sister Angela. She informs him she is the sole person on the island and that the runaway boat left her behind to find the local priest. The Japanese arrive to build a base, forcing Allison and the nun to shelter in a cave. The crude marine supplies them with all they need to survive and falls in love with the nun.
