Hot Boyz
Injustice produces criminals. Kool is an unpromising artist with a black belt in karate and a crush on LaShawna, a poised and college-bound young lady. She witnesses a stabbing one night and realizes the victim is a police officer as he dies in her arms. She is arrested for murder by the LAPD's infamous Ramparts Division. Kool is determined to establish her innocence, while Tully, the cynical detective in charge, disregards LaShawna's case in favor of using Kool to disrupt an impending crime plot. She is at risk because the perpetrators believe the cop spoke before he died. She is battered to death by a rogue cop while in jail awaiting a hearing and legal assistance. The Hot Boyz are born as a result of Kool's promise of vengeance.
