Hotel by the River

An elderly poet who is staying for free at a riverside motel invites his two estranged sons. This is because he feels as if he is about to die for no apparent reason. A young woman obtains a hotel room after being betrayed by the man she was living with. She summons a friend for assistance. The poet spends the day with his sons, tying up loose ends in his life. But that is not something that can be accomplished in a single day. But then he sees the young woman and her friend after a sudden, astonishingly heavy snowstorm.
