As "Meat Cleaver Max" is brought to justice, Detective Lucas McCarthy is in the crowd to see his execution by lethal injection. In fact, the death of Max Jenke raised him to a new degree of consciousness. He is now in danger, his sanity is in question, and his house has been haunted. Can Lucas restore his mind, home, and family with the help of a shady college professor? Lucas McCarthy is played by Lance Henriksen while Max Jenke is played by Brion James. This is one of the few films in which these performers are the protagonists.
