Francesca was always drawn to people who were different. The best friend she has is Maxi. When one of her stalkers is found dead, she goes to Maxi for help. Jack, Maxi's grandfather, is a disgraced Rabbi who comes across a reclining chair with a Dybbuk inside. They try to figure out where the recliner has been delivered while they look into Jack's new ability to communicate with the other world and see if it can be used in real life. Meanwhile, the reclining chair is infatuated with Francesca and starts to do things out of love.
