Jimmy Kilmartin is a former prisoner who lives in Astoria, which is in the borough of Queens in New York City. He is trying to stay clean and raise a family with his wife, Bev. But when his cousin Ronnie sets him up for driving stolen cars illegally, a police officer named Calvin Hart gets hurt and Jimmy goes back to prison. In exchange for getting out of jail early, he is asked to help take down Little Junior Brown, a local crime boss. Jimmy gets remarried and tries to reconnect with his child. But Detective Hart sends him undercover to work with Junior and get into his operations. As soon as Little Junior kills an undercover federal agent in front of Jimmy, the corrupt district attorney and the feds make his life even harder. He must beat Junior or have to deal with the consequences.
