L'Atalante
After a quick courtship, feisty Juliette from a small town and Jean, the captain of a barge, get married, and Juliette moves aboard Jean's boat, L'Atalante. As they go down the Seine, Jean gets tired of Juliette flirting with his all-male crew, and Juliette can't wait to get off the boat and into a big city where things are more exciting. When she sneaks off to Paris by herself, her husband starts to wonder if he made a mistake getting married to her.
