Agathe Villanova is a self-indulgent, workaholic feminist political leader who, upon hesitantly returning to her home in the south of France to sort out her mother's affairs, runs for a local election. Upon her arrival, Agathe reluctantly consents to take part in a docudrama being made by the messing up duo of Karim, a hopeful filmmaker, and self-professed "press reporter" Michel, on "successful ladies."
