Let the Corpses Tan
Every summer, Luce, an oddball painter in her 50s, spends her time with guests in the ruins of a small town in southern France. This summer, these guests are Max Bernier, an old flame who is an author and an alcoholic, her current boyfriend, a lawyer named Bisorgueil, and his friends Rhino, Gros, and Alex, whom she hasn't met yet. After doing some shopping in town, three unknown people attack an armored truck and steal 250 kg of gold. Then, they go back to Luce's house, hoping that she will hide them until the end of summer... But a few things will go wrong, and the hamlet will turn into a battlefield over the course of a long, tumultuous day.
