Little Orphans
The wedding event of their youngest sis, Janet, brings Gwen and Kay house to St. John's, Newfoundland. While Janet battles to conceal her family members's dysfunction, Kay can't help but create chaos wherever she goes and also Gwen discovers herself immobilized by a past secret. The complicated web of connections between the siblings, their Auntie Maureen, their absent mommy, as well as Kay's young daughter Billie, is only illuminated by the wedding. Gwen's efforts to obtain Kay to take duty for her child highlights her own desertion of her ex-spouse, Tom, leading them all to a not-so-perfect tornado of a reception.
