Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan who works at Mushnik's, a flower shop on Skid Row in New York City. Mr. Mushnik constantly chastises him over his crush on Audrey Fulquard, a coworker. Seymour comes across a highly weird unnamed plant that he names Audrey II one day while looking for a new mysterious plant. The plant appears to have a bloodlust and begins to sing for his meal.
