Wayne Dobie is a bashful cop who has earned the nickname "Mad Dog" for his low-key manner. Mad Dog is offered the companionship of an attractive young waitress named Glory for a week after saving the life of Frank Milo, a crime lord and wannabe stand-up comedian.
