Unforgiving and lethal, the Abyss is an enigmatic location. Despite the perils, explorers like Riko, who aspires to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Cave Raider, are nonetheless drawn to it. Her mother has apparently died in the Abyss, but a strange note suggests that Riko should not give up hope just yet. To find out what happened to her mother, Riko teams up with a humanoid robot named Reg. This is their chance to prove their mettle in the face of overwhelming odds.
