Based on the true story of Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal's 1962 prosecution of the head of a Polish factory, who turned out to be a murderous labor camp commandant. He must find witnesses who can assist him in order to bring him to justice. This leads him to Max Rosenberg, a still-tormented man who lost his wife, Helen, in the camps. Max initially refuses to cooperate, but his story gradually unfolds beginning before the Holocaust.
