George Washington McLintock, an aging rancher and self-made millionaire, is confronted with a variety of personal and professional issues. Everyone, including high-ranking government officials, McLintock's kids, and local Native Americans, seemed to want a piece of his large land. While McLintock attempts to juggle his numerous rivals, his wife, who left him two years ago, unexpectedly returns. She is uninterested in her husband, however, and desires sole custody of their daughter.
