Gyunggi Province, 1986 A young woman's body is discovered, horribly raped and murdered. Two months later, a similar spate of rapes and murders begins. And, in a country where such crimes had never been committed, the dark murmurs about a serial killer grow louder. A special task force is formed in the area, with two local investigators, Park Doo-Man and Jo Young-Goo, joined by a detective from Seoul who has requested to be assigned to the investigation.
