A former mercenary who is burned out, jaded, and hardened, Nick Gunar is having a terrible time transitioning to regular life. He is hired by the Nitro Mine Corporation to force the people of a South China Sea island to give up their rights to the island's significant mineral resources. Nick dreads the prospect of embarking on another mission, but this supposedly straightforward assignment will provide him with enough money to reunite with his estranged family. He enlists the assistance of some of his former mercenary colleagues to complete the task. Islanders are adamant in their refusal to give up their land, and Nick chooses to assist them in their struggle against the rich business that hired him. As greed and deceit begin to unravel, Nick's gang of mercenaries must decide which side they will support.
