In 1996 Chris Carter followed up THE X-FILES with the darker, perhaps more advanced collection centuries, a gothic horror reveal that pit actor Lance Henriksen versus a thousand points of darkness. The collection ended abruptly in 1999, but the darkness stays. Fans yearning for Frank Black's brave return can take another look at previous problems and also see glimpses of a hopeful future in the new feature-length documentary, MILLENNIUM AFTER THE CENTURIES.
