Rebecca (Tedde Moore), Mrs. Claus, is concerned that her exhausted, workaholic husband (Mairtin O'Carrigan), has lost his holiday spirit. She believes she can restore his happiness and secretly travels to New York City, where she first fell in love with Nick, where she believes the spirit of Christmas must still exist. Rebecca befriends Joe (Greg Bryk), a caring cop who is concerned about this kindly grandmother, who is alone and low on funds, in a crowded New York diner. Joe reveals that he and his wife Lucy (Tricia Helfer) are divorcing. Recognizing Joe's undying love for his wife, Rebecca agrees to work as the family's nanny until Christmas. To Rebecca's delight, by healing Joe and Lucy's families, she demonstrates to Santa that Christmas miracles are still possible and that his job is more important than ever!
