On Earth, there is little left to mine; in space, there are fierce battles over the last resources on other planets and satellites. In year 2038 In this scenario, one of the larger mining businesses has lost all but one mineral moon and many of their completely autonomous mining robots are disappearing on their way back to the headquarters. For lack of candidates, they resort to using inmates as a last resort. Among them is undercover agent Stone, whose job it is to find out where the pricey robots have gone missing. In an atmosphere of corruption, fear, and hostility, he is able to get between the front lines of opposing factions of society.
