Fiona Rangely (Lacey Chabert), a fast-paced New York City high-end real estate broker, escapes to her family's quaint Vermont Inn for a few days to slow down and reflect on her life after her boyfriend dumps her. When Fiona's ex-boyfriend Nate shows up at the Inn with a new girlfriend, she quickly devises a plan to win him back: pretend to be her new boyfriend, the handsome and laid-back head chef Derek (Carlo Marks)!
