Mr. St. Nick
Nick St. Nicholas, a Miami-based playboy benefactor, is ready to marry his ideal girl, attractive TV weathercaster Heidi Gardelle (Elaine Hendrix). Santa Claus (Charles Durning) is the son of the profligate St. Nicholas (or Nicholas XX in this narrative). Nick refuses to take over the "family business" at the North Pole before his father's power expires, opting to stay in Miami to launch his latest charity at Heidi's behest. By the time Nick understands his "dream girl" is a mercenary nightmare, he's been hounded by a vengeful INS agent (Colin Cunningham) and guilt over his father's and the North Pole toy factory's destiny.
