My Guardian Angel
When Hannah's parents took her to a new school, they told her it was to start over. Hannah, on the other hand, is 11 years old, autistic, and can't speak because of this. Because she had a twin sister named Angel, Hannah was not allowed to cry when her sister died. When she tried to get comfort from her sister's clothes, she was punished. Hannah is now living a life of silence and despair that she fears will soon end at the hands of her parents, and she doesn't like it. It's only when a knife keeps showing up under her pillow, and a voice that she thinks is inside her head won't let her go, that Hannah starts to think there might be an ally who isn't from this world, but she's scared. Angel might be the person who came from the "other side" to seek justice for all the abuse she's been through. Can Hannah get over her fear so that she will let her into the home?
